In recent years there has been an exponential increase in the practice of sports which has led to the proliferation of both sporting events and fitness facilities and clubs in our country. The aim of this subject is to provide students with the general knowledge and tools needed to plan, organize and manage both a sporting event and a sporting facility.
In terms of sports event management, we will work both managing a project and being part of a professional team, with the aim of ensuring the safety, execution and success of the event. We will analyze each of the different areas that make up a sporting event through real and close cases to visualize what it means to organize and plan an event so that it is viable, from an economic and legal point of view, and can be carried out.
In relation to the management of sports facilities, the different types of facilities will be analyzed as well as the management of the main areas and departments of a sports facility.
