Presentation of the subject


During the external internships, the student of the Master's Degree in Personal Training and Physical-Sports Rehabilitation seeks the transfer of specific subjects linked to personal training, prevention and physical-sports rehabilitation to the professional field, in a progressive manner and guided by both the tutors of the internship center, as well as by the tutors of the TecnoCampus University Center. This process is an advance in the professional performance of the graduates (Long Life Learning), in a context such as personal training and physical-sports rehabilitation. 

The objectives of external internships are:

  • Contribute to the training of students through the integration of the knowledge and skills acquired in the master's degree, with the exercise of a profession linked to the field of Personal Training and Physical and Sports Rehabilitation.
  • Provide a work methodology appropriate to the professional reality and promote the development of personal, interpersonal and participatory skills.
  • Learn and become familiar with the environment and functioning of companies and entities in the professional and labor field of Personal Training and Physical and Sports Rehabilitation.
  • Offer a practical experience that facilitates the student's integration into the world of work.
  • Involve the student in the ethical and deontological aspects of professional practice.

Master's students may request up to 7 ECTS of recognition depending on their level of professional experience.

To make this request, you must submit the corresponding documentation:

  • Certification of working life for a period of time greater than 3 years.
  • Certificate sealed and signed by the person in charge and the sports director of the center, institution or sports club, justifying that they have performed any of the following functions such as:
    • Personal Trainer specifying with what type of populations and the functions performed.
    • Physical and sports rehabilitation specialist specifying the type of population and the functions performed.

TecnoCampus will make available to teachers and students the digital tools necessary to carry out the subject, as well as guides and recommendations that facilitate adaptation to the non-face-to-face modality.

The evaluation will conclude with a recognition of the level of learning achieved by the student, materialized in the numerical qualification, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation. Qualification system (Royal Decree 1125/2003, of September 5, which establishes the European Credit System and the qualification system in university degrees of an official nature and valid throughout the state territory):

• 0 - 4,9: Fail (SS)
• 5,0 - 6,9: Passed (AP)
• 7,0 - 8,9: Remarkable (NT)
• 9,0 - 10: Excellent (SB)

The individual evaluation (SE7, SE8, SEV3) of an individual nature must be graded according to the weighting established in the evaluation system. 

This grade must be equal to or greater than 3 points out of 10 to be averaged with the other evaluation tests. Failure to achieve this minimum score will result in failure of the subject.
Any form of academic fraud will be sanctioned in accordance with the center's evaluation regulations.

If signs of fraud are detected, including the improper use of generative artificial intelligence tools, the subject's teaching staff may call the student for an individual interview with the aim of verifying their authorship.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in this subject is regulated in the Learning Plan. It should be consulted to find out the specific conditions of use.
