The subject of Anatomical, Physiological and Biomechanical Bases Applied to Personal Training aims to consolidate knowledge about the structure and function of the different systems of the human organism, as well as knowledge about their assessment in relation to body movement. On the other hand, the subject aims to show proposals and trends related to the evaluation of anatomical and physiological and biomechanical parameters. This will allow students to use the necessary means to adapt to the individual needs of the people they work with, as well as to learn about different options for the development of their work in the field of personal training and physical and sports rehabilitation.
The gender perspective will be an aspect that the teaching staff will take into account by making an inclusive and non-sexist use of language and promoting the equal participation of everyone in a respectful and inclusive environment both in the master classes and in the seminar sessions. Female bibliographical references will be provided in the classroom to the extent that the subject allows it and the full first name of the authors will be used. Regarding the images of the content in the teaching material, the non-perpetuation of stereotypes will be encouraged.
The classroom (physical or virtual) is a safe space, free of sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, either towards students or teachers. We trust that together we can create a safe space where we can make mistakes and learn without having to suffer the prejudices of others.

The contents of the subject Anatomical, Physiological and Biomechanical Bases Applied to Personal Training are related to three main blocks:
The evaluation will consist of a recognition of the level of learning achieved by the students, materialized in the numerical qualification, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation.
Qualification system (Royal Decree 1125/2003, of 5 September, which establishes the European credit system and the system of qualifications in university degrees of an official nature and valid throughout the state):
The student's grade is the result of a continuous assessment and a final assessment. The subject is passed with a grade equal to or greater than 5 points (out of 10 points), according to the following weighting table:
| EVALUATION SYSTEM | WEIGHTING |
| SE3. Individual works | 30% |
| SE4. Collective Work | 30% |
| SEV2. Online questionnaires | 10% |
| SEV3. Participation in online forums and discussions | 10% |
| SEV4. Individual online work | 10% |
| SEV5. Online group work | 10% |
Any form of academic fraud will be sanctioned in accordance with the center's assessment regulations. If signs of fraud are detected, including the improper use of generative artificial intelligence tools, the subject's teaching staff may call the student for an individual interview with the aim of verifying their authorship.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in this subject is regulated in the Learning Plan. It should be consulted to find out the specific conditions of use.
REMEMBER:
The individual assessment (SEV2,SEV3,SEV4) must be graded according to the weighting established in the evaluation system. This grade must be equal to or greater than 3 points out of 10 to be averaged with the other evaluation tests. Failure to achieve this minimum score implies failure of the subject.
