The language of the internship is conditioned at the place of performance.
CB7. That students know how to apply the knowledge acquired and their ability to solve problems in new or little-known environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.
CB9. That students know how to communicate their conclusions and the latest knowledge and reasons that support them to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous way.
CE3. Plan analysis in local and global business environments in order to anticipate new market opportunities that could be transformed into commercial products
CE4. Strategically manage business innovation processes in the supply chain and the maritime business, from diagnosis to application, being able to align resources, capabilities and skills to implement them
CE5. Design and implement logistics systems, assessing the different possible alternatives, technical and resource constraints and taking into account the coordinated direction and management along the supply chain.
CE8. Analyze and diagnose different problems that arise along all nodes of the maritime business and, with the support of management tools, design and implement efficient solutions.
CE10. Manage maritime business projects by adopting innovative and creative ideas and respecting the environment
CT1. Show willingness to learn about new cultures, experiment with new methodologies and encourage international exchange in the context of logistics, supply chain and maritime business.
CT3. Develop tasks applying the acquired knowledge with flexibility and creativity and adapting them to new contexts and situations.
External internships are understood to be training activities carried out by a student within any public or private entity, national or international, with the aim of applying and complementing the training acquired. Bringing the student closer to the business reality in which he will carry out his activity as a professional and developing skills that favor incorporation into the labor market. Internships must be carried out in a safe space, free from sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic and discriminatory attitudes, whether towards the students or towards the rest of the agents involved.
The contents that will be developed with the completion of the external internships are conditioned by the company and/or institution in which they are carried out. In any case, they will be consistent with the competencies of the Master.
The evaluation of the subject will include, in general, the following parameters:
• Company assessment and reports: at the end of the internship (40%)
• Written report: (40%): that will contemplate the elements considered in the script of the same, contemplated appearances like the description of tasks developed, attitudes and competitions acquired: critical analysis and suggestions of improvement, obtained results and contributions of learning
• Tutorials and oral defense of the thesis before the tutor: 20%
The final evaluation will only be carried out once the corresponding documentation has been submitted within the period established in the presentation and tutorial sessions, which will include, in addition to the report, the documents provided for in the regulations.
In the event that the written report is submitted after the deadline established in the regulations, it will be penalized with 20% of the grade (out of 10). In this regard, it is necessary to respect the deadlines and requirements established in the internship regulations and the instructions given by the academic tutor assigned to each student. It is necessary to pass the company assessment (5 out of 10) and the written report (5 out of 10) to be able to pass the subject.
Students who accredit professional experience in a field related to their studies may be recognized as curricular internships, if the requirements set out in the regulations are met.
