  • Establish maritime and logistics business projects that allow the creation of new companies or the improvement of existing ones, adopting innovative and creative ideas

  • Show knowledge of the organization of maritime, land, air and multimodal transport, customs management and international trade in order to manage and / or contract transport

The content of the subject will be taught through online sessions / conferences / webinars by different national and / or international experts.

The sessions/conferences will be given in Spanish or Catalan or English

The content includes conferences / sessions on different topics. The conferences / sessions may or may not be related to each other.

 The content includes different sessions/conferences that focus on some of the topics detailed below (not all topics will be covered in the course as they will depend on the availability of the speakers).  The order of presentation of the topics does not imply a specific chronology

  • The Panama Canal and Geopolitics:  Characteristics.

  • Ethe market of oil tankers (Oil Tankers)

Consequences of the variations in the fuel; Effects of the war in Ukraine on the transport of crude oil; Contribution of oil tankers to lower environmental pollution. Current and future challenges

  • The transport of biomedical material / vaccines

Essential conditions for the transport of biomedical materials. Logistics solutions. Biomedical security in supply chain logistics

  • Transport and storage of large agri-food products

Activities and evaluation system

Face-to-face or virtual assistance (if they decide so for security reasons or if some exhibitors request it) and activities related to conferences / sessions:

Activities: 50% and class participation 10% of the final grade.

Final exam PRESENCEThe one related to all conferences: 40% of the final grade.

The final exam grade must be at least 5/10 points (or 50/100) to be able to average.

Recovery will only be possible if the final exam has been submitted

In the event of not attending the final exam, the student will receive the grade of "No presentado" and will NOT have the option to present the make-up exam.

If the student does not attend the make-up exam, he/she will keep the SAME Grade obtained (continuous evaluation and final exam).

Continuous assessment items are not recoverable

If attending the Remedial Exam the student will obtain the new ACUERDO Qualification according to the following criteria: Remedial Exam: 50% Continuous Evaluation: 50%
