Emotion management is an optional third-year subject in the nursing degree.
Emotions and feelings are of great importance in understanding human behavior. Emotions are what allow us to adapt and respond to the environment in which we find ourselves. We currently know that feelings can favor or speed up reasoning, improve communication or facilitate social interaction. Despite this, we still find it difficult to manage them satisfactorily.
Throughout the subject, work will be done so that the future nurse is able to identify and be aware of their own emotions in order to manage them appropriately depending on the demands of the situation, as well as understand and recognize emotions of others
