Working methodology

METHODOLOGY

Theoretical sessions: Master class: Expository class sessions based on the teacher's explanation attended by all students enrolled in the subject.

Presentations: Multimedia formats that support face-to-face classes.

Video capsules: Resource in video format, which includes contents or demonstrations of the thematic axes of the subjects. These capsules are integrated into the structure of the subject and serve students to review as many times as necessary the ideas or proposals that the teacher needs to highlight from their classes. directed learning

Case study: Dynamics that starts from the study of a case, which serves to contextualize the student in a specific situation, the teacher can propose different activities, both individually and in groups, among their students autonomous learning

Solving exercises and problems: Non-contact activity dedicated to solving practical exercises based on the data provided by the teacher and readings of academic articles and specialized journals

This subject has methodological and digital resources to make possible its continuity in non-contact mode in the case of being necessary for reasons related to the Covid-19. In this way, the achievement of the same knowledge and skills that are specified in this teaching plan will be ensured.
The TecnoCampus will make available to teachers and students the digital tools needed to carry out the course, as well as guides and recommendations that facilitate adaptation to the non-contact mode.

Evaluation system

EVALUATION SYSTEM

The evaluation is carried out through three groups of activities, each of which may contain different exercises. The activity groups are:

20%: Participation in activities in the classroom (Presentations, discussion of articles, row zero (), etc.)

20%: Exercise deliveries

60%: Final exam

() The "zero row" is set up with students randomly selected each day to answer questions explained in previous weeks.

Each of the three groups of activities is graded in the range of 0-10 points, obtaining this grade as an average of all the activities carried out in the group. The overall grade for the course is obtained by weighting the grade for the group with the% indicated.

The final exam consists of the following parts:

Theoretical part with multiple-choice questions (only one is valid) where a correct answer adds 1 point and an incorrect one subtracts 0,25 points at most.

Theoretical part with binary answer questions, V or F, where the answer is correct is graded with 1 point and otherwise there is a maximum of 0,25 points.

Theoretical part with open questions of short length, maximum 180 words, where a correct answer adds 1 point, a sufficient answer adds 0,5 points and an incorrect one adds 0 points.

Interpretive part, with explanation of the meaning of graphs and tables stated. It qualifies in the range 0-1 point.

Practical part of solving numerical problems. It is rated in the range 0-N points, in the N is given by the degree of difficulty of the exercise.

Some of the above three may be omitted.

The grade of 10 corresponds to the total points obtained for correct questions (1) and correct problem solving (N)

If the final exam is less than 4,0 points out of 10,0, the subject is suspended, although a final recovery exam can be taken. Conducting the resit exam will only be possible if you have completed the final exam at the time. Final exams and resit exams cannot be replaced by assignments.

The overall grade of the subject is obtained by weighting the grades of the participation assessments, exercises and the grade of the final exam or recovery. The subject is only passed with an overall grade of the subject equal to or higher than 5,0 out of 10,0 points.
