The main objective of this course is: · To improve the student's ability to communicate in English and understand academic texts in a health context. The course focuses on carrying out professional activities in English in the fields of nursing and the sciences of physical activity and sport, with parallel attention to the relevant vocabulary and grammar. In this way, the learning outcomes are as follows: Acquire and master the English language applied to the sciences of health and physical activity. It incorporates English as a language for learning and disseminating scientific knowledge. Use in interprofessional communication.
The methodology of the course will be of a very practical nature. Each session will include a variety of activities designed to develop the main language strategies. The main objective of this subject will be the active use of English in a dynamic environment.
Synopsis:
The contents are highly functional and are linked to real situations through task-based learning. Understand and express themselves orally in English.
