Description


  • Study and analysis of all the processes involved in the cycle of the travel business.
  • Analysis of business structures and their forms of management.
  • Creation of travel products with pricing and budget development.
  • Management of air reservations through the Amadeus system

Learning outcomes


  • Analyze and evaluate the functions of travel agencies in the intermediation and sale of different types of tourist services
  • Design a trip based on the factors that are established and calculate the corresponding budget
  • Manage an air reservation through a GDS

  5. Combined travel: Concept and type of combined travel. Analysis of tourist services and their prices. Preparation and contribution of budgets. Pricing.

  1. GDS Amadeus: air reservation management

The subject is divided into two MODULES:

  • MODULE I: A total of 4 credits (40 hours) will be taught and will have a weight of 60% of the total of the subject.

This 60% is distributed with:

- Final exam. will have a weight of 40% of the grade of MODULE I. The minimum grade to be achieved to average the MODULE I must be 5. 

- Practical cases: they will have a weight of 10% of the note of the MODULE I

- Attendance and attitude: will have a weight of 10% of the note of the MODULE I (80% of assistance to the sessions)

 

  • MODULE II: A total of 2 credits will be taught (20 hours) and will have a weight of 40% of the total of the subject

This 40% is distributed with:

- Final exam. will have a weight of 30% of the note of MODULE II. The minimum grade to be achieved to average MODULE II must be 5. 

- Attendance and attitude: will have a weight of 10% of the note of the MODULE II (80% of attendance to the sessions)

In the final exam of this MODULE II, if the student passes it with at least a 5, he / she will obtain a certificate from Amadeus.

 

To pass the course you must obtain an overall grade equal to or higher than 5 of each MODULE

In order to access the recovery it is necessary to have taken the final test

In the event that a student has to apply for recovery, he / she will do so only for those Modules that he / she has suspended.
