The signed memorandum of understanding opens the door for the park's entire innovative ecosystem to interact with the Chinese market

A delegation from TecnoCampus led by the mayor of Mataró, David Bote, and the park's general director, Josep Lluís Checa, received a visit from the top representatives of the Beijing Talent Work Bureau, Beijing Hycore Innovation Co. Ltd. and the Beijing Institute of Talent Development Strategy with the aim of establishing a framework for collaboration in the field of innovation and talent. 

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed establishes collaboration with Hycore Innovation Co. Ltd, which manages the main startup and innovation ecosystem in Beijing. This agreement represents a key opportunity to consolidate TecnoCampus's positioning as a leading agent in innovation and the internationalization of Catalan companies. The Chinese delegation was made up of representatives from three leading entities in the city: 

  • Beijing Talent Work Bureau: Government body dedicated to the management and development of human resources in Beijing, with a focus on integrating international talent and creating communities for foreign professionals. 
  • Beijing Hycore Innovation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as HICOOL, the company's trade name): A company founded with the support of the Beijing Foreign Talent Association, known for organizing the HICOOL Global Entrepreneurship competition, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship worldwide. The company also manages an industrial and technological park that forms a leading innovation ecosystem in China.
  • Beijing Institute of Talent Development Strategy: Research center dedicated to analysis and strategy in the field of talent development, with publications such as the "Beijing Talent Development Report" that summarize best practices in this area. 

This agreement will already be reflected in the HICOOL Global Entrepreneurship competition, which will annually invite representatives and startups from TecnoCampus to participate in the HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit with presentations, stands and networking. in the coming days 

In addition, TecnoCampus will provide temporary space in the park for startups on the HICOOL platform with location support, while HICOOL will offer a coworking space in Beijing for startups linked to TecnoCampus, with administrative support and local connections. Both parties will help companies connect with governments, technology companies and investment institutions to boost international expansion, and will facilitate interaction between visiting and resident companies through contacts and shared information. In the academic field, support is expected for cooperation between universities and research centers in Beijing and the Maresme ecosystem, including talent exchanges, researcher visits and joint R&D projects.
