They were delivered this Wednesday, October 18, as part of a conference on the impact of Artificial Intelligence in the sector

The day, called TEX & TECH and promoted by TecnoCampus and Eurecat, has been co-financed by the Provincial Council of Barcelona and sponsored by Farside, Bobo Choses and Neural Fashion by Raona. 

The awarded companies were: 

  • Flashion (digital model and innovation plus awards): has a mission to revolutionize the professional fashion industry through the power of artificial intelligence. The platform proposes an integrated solution, which includes design, marketing and production optimization tools. All of them driven by artificial intelligence. 
     
  • Infinite Athletic (sustainability and circular economy award): sports brand of tennis and padel clothing. The project is dedicated to recycling the strings of tennis rackets, to be able to manufacture their own polymer and fabric, and thus make eco-designed sports pieces. 
     
  • Techno Textile Domains (functional textile award): born seeing the need for the large number of occupational accidents and the need to guarantee the safety of people working in industrial environments. It proposes the application of an intelligent and functional fabric capable of geolocating personnel when there are evacuations and guaranteeing a more efficient rescue.  

    During the day, Jaume Ferrús, vice-president of the Eurecat Technology Center; Sergi Morales, councilor of a prosperous city, generation of wealth and decent work and second deputy mayor of Mataró City Council; Jordi Marcè, vice president of ACTE Spain and councilor for Economic Revitalization, Urban Environment and Sustainability of the Igualada City Council, and David Bote, Mayor of Mataró and president of the TecnoCampus Foundation, highlighted the Reimagine Textile program, which with the support of European funds, it makes available to the sector a program to promote entrepreneurship and an incubator for new business projects.
