Recognition of the best degree records and new scholarship recipients

During the course of the event, the University-Company scholarships, which finance the Aquahotel company, were awarded; the Talent scholarships, co-financed by Pompeu Fabra University; the Impulsa scholarships, awarded by the TecnoCampus; and scholarships for city athletes, which co-finance Futsal and CN Mataró. All of them have in common that they reward the academic curriculum of the applicants, so they reward merit and effort in studies. Family members and friends of the recipients filled the room where the event was held. The general director of the TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa; the commissioner of the UPF Group, Carles Ramió; the vice president of TecnoCampus, Sergi Morales; the academic director of the TecnoCampus, Elisa Sayrol; the manager of the Mataró Swimming Centre, Jordi Neria; and the president of Futsal Mataró, Albert Sallent, have been in charge of handing out the diplomas.

In addition to scholarships based on academic records, the TecnoCampus grants each year degree enrollment grants based on family income that are compatible with those awarded by the Generalitat and the State and which are renewed each year. Overall, for the 2022-2023 academic year, the TecnoCampus allocated a total of €559.000 to grants and grants from its own programs for all TecnoCampus students.

The second part of the event consisted of the awarding of diplomas to the best students of each of the degrees and double degrees that can be taken at the TecnoCampus. A recognition of the best grade point average among all the students who finished their studies in the 2022-2023 academic year which has been given by the TecnoCampus department directors: Julián Horrillo (Technology), Dolors Celma (Business), Adso Fernández ( Cultural Industries); and Meritxell Puyané (Health).
