TecnoCampus has signed an agreement for the equipment and use of the Gastronomic Laboratory with the German company Rational, dedicated to the manufacture and innovation of equipment for professional kitchens and a leader in the culinary technology market. This new alliance will allow the Gastronomic Laboratory to have the latest technology equipment in collective catering, such as the iVario Pro 2-S equipment and the iCombi Pro 10-1 oven with the UltraVent Plus hood.

This will allow students of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as all students of the center who pass through this space, to learn and experiment with this equipment that is currently found in most professional kitchens, whether in hospitals, school canteens or senior centers. In addition to having this equipment, it will allow the development of research and university extension projects and activities that may arise.

For its part, the company Rational will demonstrate its equipment to different professionals in the hospitality industry within the Gastronomic Laboratory. Likewise, Rational will carry out training sessions on dietetics and nutrition and on the use of this technology to students of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. This agreement between Tecnocampus and the company Rational will allow for the promotion of collaboration between the academic and business worlds as well as offering better quality training to students and better equipment in the Gastronomic Laboratory.
