On Tuesday 21 October, the Antena TrenLab Mataró space hosted the B2B Saxony-Catalonia Conference, a business session focused on fostering synergies between Catalan and German companies in the railway sector. The event, organised by IN-MOVE by Railgrup, the German Chamber of Commerce for Spain (AHK Spanien) and ACCIÓ, with the collaboration of the Mataró City Council and Antena TrenLab, highlighted the strong potential of the railway industry and its commitment to innovation, digitalisation and sustainability.

During the day, several companies from Saxony (Germany) —one of the European regions with the greatest tradition and specialization in railway technology— presented their solutions and held bilateral meetings with Catalan companies to explore opportunities for collaboration and strategic alliances.

The event also included the participation of institutional and business representatives who stressed the importance of promoting cross-border projects and shared innovation ecosystems to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector at a European level. The day ended with a networking and catering space, which facilitated the exchange of experiences and direct contact between participating companies, generating an environment conducive to future collaborations.

Antena TrenLab Mataró  is a joint project of Renfe, the Mataró City Council and TecnoCampus to promote innovative solutions in the field of sustainable mobility.
