Antena TrenLab Mataró presents this year's accelerated startups and launches the 2026 call

Startups Scai Engineering, Guaype and Parkunload presented the solutions developed during the acceleration program. The projects addressed key challenges regarding user experience, sustainability and inclusive and intelligent mobility. During the event, the new challenges of the Antena TrenLab 2026 Awards were presented, focusing on sustainability, on-board experience and universal accessibility.

Demo Day Train Lab Antenna 2026

Antena TrenLab celebrated its Demo Day today, a key day in which the startups Scai Engineering, Guaype and Parkunload, accelerated over the last 6 months, showed the results of their proof of concept in front of representatives of Renfe, Mataró City Council and TecnoCampus. 

This event marks the culmination of an intense acceleration process in which startups have been able to validate their solutions in a real environment, perfect their business models and advance in technological development with the support of the entities promoting the program. Since its launch, the program has promoted several startups and contributed to generating an innovation ecosystem aimed at transforming the railway sector and urban mobility.

The solutions presented are the following: 

  • Scai Engineering: Kairos is an integrated conversational AI agent, designed to improve user care and accessibility at the station. 
  • Guaype: Design of sustainable railway furniture made from recycled work uniforms.
  • Parkunload: Intelligent parking management system that allows parking to be registered and validated using Bluetooth technology. 

The three companies share a focus based on technological innovation, digitalization and improving the user experience, providing real solutions to current mobility challenges. During the event, the new challenges of the Antena TrenLab Awards 2026, which seek to attract startups and innovative solutions in the railway sector and urban mobility. 

The challenges are: Green Experience (technological solutions and innovative materials that promote more sustainable mobility throughout the user's journey); Onboard Experience (technological solutions that improve the experience on board the train); Mobility for all (technological solutions that promote accessible and inclusive mobility for all people, regardless of their condition).

Interested startups can present their solutions until September 16, 2026 at 15 p.m.
