TecnoCampus professors Esther Cabrera, professor of the Department of Health, Noemí Ruiz, professor of the Department of Business, have been included in the Ranking of Spanish Women Researchers and in Spain, prepared by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). 

 

This list, based on Google Scholar and ORCID profiles, aims to highlight the role of women in the field of research and promote open science. Professor Cabrera has a consolidated career in research, teaching and academic leadership in the field of aging and chronicity. She is currently a professor at the TecnoCampus University Center, director of the Chair in Aging and Quality of Life, and academic director of the university Master's Degree in Integrated Care in Chronicity and Aging. Her scientific production has been consolidated with more than 80 articles in Social and Health Sciences, 54 indexed in JCR, 27 in the first quartile, with an h-index of 22 and more than 1.300 citations. 

Noemí Ruiz is a consolidated researcher in mathematics teaching in the field of Anthropological Theory of Didactics. Her career has focused on educational innovation and applied research at secondary and university levels. Her contribution to the introduction of algebra and the use of inquiry methodologies, called Study and Research Paths, stands out. She collaborates with different research groups, such as the Applied Research Group in the Financial, Economic and Social Environment (GRAEFES-Tecnocampus), the Analytics, Simulations and Inquiry in STEM and Business Education Group (ASISTEMBE) and more recently with the Mathematics Didactics and Teacher Training in STEM and Interdisciplinarity Group (DIFISTEM), with researchers from the UB, the EUSS and the UPC.
