TecnoCampus joins the celebration of International Women's Day

TecnoCampus has scheduled several activities related to the celebration of International Women's Day, Sunday, March 8. These are activities from both the university and business spheres that are held around this date.

The first of the scheduled activities is at the CRAI-Library, where you can visit theexhibition "The feminisms of Feminal"The exhibition takes a tour of the first feminist magazine published in Catalonia. It is open to the public. until March 13.

In the business sphere, the next March 20 is organized “Women who undertake to transform the future”, a day to highlight female leadership and discuss the challenges and opportunities of female entrepreneurship in Catalonia. It will consist of the talk “Female leadership: business reality and current challenges”, by Clara Lapiedra, entrepreneur, investor and entrepreneurship consultant, and the round table “Inspiring trajectories, leadership and barriers overcome”, with . Clara Lapiedra, CEO and founder of Aula Magna Business School; Marta Príncep, CEO and founder of Princep Ventures; and Sònia Torras, CEO and co-founder of Eholo. Open registrations.

Finally, on Saturday April 18, TecnoCampus will host a new edition of the HackGirl, the technological hackathon aimed at girls in secondary school, high school and vocational training who want to get closer to the world of innovation and technology from a creative perspective with social impact. The event is part of the TecnoGirl program, an initiative that seeks to break gender stereotypes and promote STEAM vocations among young women. In this edition, the participants will have to face a real challenge proposed by the Equality and Citizen Diversity Service of the Mataró City Council: how to improve the safety of young people —and especially girls— in the city's nightlife spaces. The hackathon format will allow, in a single day, prototypes and initiatives to be generated that could have real continuity in the future. Open registrations.
