Víctor Sala and Pau Ortiz, organizers of Miniput and the Serializados festival, gave a master class on October 28th on the new innovative formats of current television as part of the Contemporary Television Production subject, 3rd year of the Degree in Audiovisual Media. During their speech, they explained how the small screen is evolving towards formats that seek differentiation in hybridization and in breaking with previous conventional formats.
The speakers emphasized how formats have evolved, proposing innovations, among others, of a thematic, narrative, technological and device-related nature. The master class served to offer students an updated vision of the creative strategies that are redefining the current television industry.
Throughout the session, the two speakers screened numerous examples of current international programs, some of which have been presented in recent editions of Miniput. This activity is part of the collaboration that the Degree in Audiovisual Media at TecnoCampus maintains with Miniput. Miniput is the only quality television exhibition in the State. The 31st edition will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 10am to 22pm at the Teatre del CCCB (Barcelona).
