Within the framework of the TecnoKarts educational innovation project, directed by professor Pablo Genovese from TecnoCampus, students from the degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering have participated as mentors in a practical activity together with students from 1st and 2nd years of ESO from the Institut Escola Àngela Bransuela in Mataró.
TecnoKart is an educational innovation project funded by the SQAI, which promotes collaboration between TecnoCampus and the public schools of Mataró, with the aim of working together on the development and improvement of an electric car for the Formula 24 category (11 to 16 years old) of the GREENPOWER competition.
During the session, held at the center's facilities on October 17, the ESO students, accompanied by teacher Àngel Gallart, learned how to regulate the brakes, repair the wheels and adjust the vehicle's steering, essential skills for setting up the car before races.
This experience reinforces TecnoCampus' commitment to teaching innovation, collaborative learning and the promotion of technological vocations from an early age.
