Statement from the TecnoCampus university center regarding the strike on October 15th

The unions have called a general strike this Wednesday, October 15, in protest of the serious humanitarian situation in Palestine. On the one hand, CGT, IAC, Intersindical-CSC and COS are calling for a 24-hour stoppage; on the other hand, CCOO and UGT, partial stoppages of two hours per shift (from 10 am to 12 pm and from 17 pm to 19 pm).

In light of this announcement, the Board of Directors of the TecnoCampus University Center announces that:

  • To respect the university community's right to strike, activities carried out during Wednesday will not be evaluated.
  • Teaching is maintained, on the understanding that some classes may be suspended if the teacher in charge of the subject avails himself of the right to strike. Cordially, Board of Directors of the University Center.
