The EuroLeague Players' Association (ELPA) will hold its annual congress (EPIC) next May in Mataró, at the TecnoCampus facilities. This association represents the interests of basketball players in the first European competition, the Euroleague, and advises them in all sporting and non-sporting areas.

The ELPA Performance International Congress (EPIC) will be held on May 10 at the TecnoCampus, the result of the collaboration agreement signed by the managing director of this entity, Bostjan Nachbar, with the general director of the TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa, and the councilor for Education, Vocational Training, University and Sports of Mataró, Beatriz Delgado.

Last year, the 2nd edition of EPIC was held in Italy, where members of the ELPA Performance Advisory Board presented innovative solutions in the areas of training, injury prevention, recovery, rehabilitation, performance management , psychology and nutrition. EPIC's goal is to share professional knowledge with professional basketball players, their personal and club performance teams, and all those in the performance field who work closely with athletes. 

Details of this year's program will be revealed in the coming weeks, and registration will also open. students linked to the field of Physiotherapy and the Degree in Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport will thus have the opportunity to attend a first-class international meeting where the most innovative practices in the high competition in the various areas that affect the performance of basketball players.
