The Catalan Youth Agency of the Department of Social Welfare and Family and the Circuit de Catalunya have opened a call among the nearly 500.000 holders of the Carnet Jove to design the new trophies that will be awarded in the races to be held at the Circuit de Catalunya Catalonia in 2011 and the coming years.

The design of the trophy will be the same for all races, but it will change the composition of the materials (more or less noble) according to the level of the race. In any case, the weight must be about 1,5 kg. As for the theme of the trophy, it must be chosen by the artist himself, but it will be valued that it integrates the concepts of the engine or elements of the Circuit de Catalunya.

Holders of the Carnet Jove who want to take part in this competition - which is being convened for the first time - have time to present their artistic proposals until 25 March. The chosen trophy will be announced during St. George's Week.

The winner will receive a bonus of € 2.000, in addition to the recognition that such an award will bring to him artistically and professionally. In this way, the Connecta't program of the Carnet Jove of the Catalan Youth Agency wants to contribute to the professional and artistic promotion of young people.
