On March 14, the documentary Songs on the verge of pop will receive the Enderrock Award for Best Musical DVD of 2010. The director of this documentary is Eloi Aymerich, professor of Television at Degree in Audiovisual Media taught by the Polytechnic University School of Mataró, which is also a co-producer of the documentary.
In addition, the documentary's assistant director is a former student of the Graduate in Audiovisual Media, and his work on this project served as the Graduate's final project.
Songs on the Edge of Pop narrates the experiences of five groups of the new pop in Catalan: Amics de les Arts, Anna Roig and l'Ombre de ton Chien, El Petit de Cal Eril, Manel and Maria Coma. To his websites you can check out the trailer.
