The III Catalan Congress of Public Management brings together more than 600 professionals at TecnoCampus

More than 600 professionals and public officials from across Catalonia are participating on June 18 and 19 in the III Catalan Congress of Public Management, an initiative promoted by the Catalan Association of Public Management (ACGP) to share knowledge, identify innovative solutions and advance the transformation of public administrations.

The event, at the TecnoCampus Congress Center, addresses some of the major challenges facing the public sector today: administrative simplification, clear communication with citizens, digital transformation, responsible use of artificial intelligence, attraction and retention of talent, improvement of institutional quality or the evaluation of public policies. 

The Congress has the impetus and active participation of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the provincial governments of Barcelona, ​​Tarragona, Girona and Lleida, the Catalan Association of Municipalities, the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia, the Metropolitan Area of ​​Barcelona and the city councils of Barcelona and Mataró. This involvement reinforces the role of the Congress as a strategic space for the future of the country's public administrations.

It features the participation of prominent figures in the field of public management and institutional innovation. Among them, the political scientist and professor at the University of Gothenburg, Víctor Lapuente, one of the most recognized voices in the field of institutional quality, who reflects on the challenges that administrations must face to strengthen citizen trust and improve the quality of public services. 

Also participating are experts such as Juli Ponce, professor of Administrative Law at the University of Barcelona, ​​and Cristina Gelpí, specialist in clear communication, who address how to build more agile and understandable administrations; Karma Peiró, doctor in algorithmic accountability, who analyzes the ethical challenges of artificial intelligence in the public sector; or Mireia Borrell, executive director of IVÀLUA, who focuses on the need to evaluate the real impact of public policies.
