The article “Developing an Instant Messaging service for individuals with cognitive disabilities”Has been accepted at the congress International Workshop on Ambient Assisted Living (IWAAL) which this year will be held in Malaga next June. This article was written by members of the netlab (Pere Tuset, Pere Barberán and Léonard Janer) of the Transfer Projects Section with the collaboration of Juan Miguel López, associate professor of the Department of Languages ​​and Computer Systems at the University of the Basque Country, and Cristina Cervelló, associate professor of Department of Telematics Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

The paper will be published, along with the rest of the papers, in a special volume of IWANN (International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks) in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS Springer-Verlag). According to its estimated impact factor, IWAAN is ranked as one of the best conferences (top 10%) in the field of artificial intelligence and is also ranked as a rank B conference by CORE (Computing Research and Education Association).
