Professor Antonio José Planells, professor and researcher at the TecnoCampus, has obtained the favorable resolution of the National Agency for Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) as a university professor in the area of ​​social and legal sciences.

This is the highest accreditation currently available and enables the teacher and researcher to gain access to a professorship at any Spanish university. Antonio José Planells is a permanent professor at TecnoCampus in the Degree in Design and Production of Videogames, where he teaches the subjects of introduction to game design and narrative. He is also the director of the emerging research group "Cultura i Tecnologia Lúdica" (CTL), recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya, and directs, together with professor Víctor Navarro, the "Ludomythologies" research project, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation .

Planells is the author of more than 23 indexed research articles, 11 book chapters and 6 monographs published in renowned publishing houses. His main lines of research are universal arguments in video games, theory of fiction and ludo-fictional worlds, and structural metaphors in analog gaming. According to the data of the Institut d'Estadística de Catalunya corresponding to the year 2021, only 8,25% of teachers in the public university system have this accreditation.
