Coinciding with World Cancer Day, last Friday the 4th the journalist Manel Fuentes, host of the program El Matí de Catalunya Ràdio, broadcast a special program from the Catalan Institute of Oncology, Hospital Duran i Reynals, Hospitalet de Llobregat. From this care center of reference in the treatment of cancer, Fuentes moderated a round table with three leaders from different areas of the Catalan Institute of Oncology: the head of the program of the Genetic Council, Ignacio Blanco; the coordinator of the Psychooncology area in L'Hospitalet, Paco Gil, and the head of the Medical Oncology service, Joseph Ramon Germà. One of these professionals, Paco Gil, is a professor at the TecnoCampus School of Health Sciences.

On the other hand, the mataronina Roser Fernández Alegre, new Secretary of Health of the Government of the Generalitat, has praised in an interview with the magazine Capgròs the launch of these courses in Nursing studies at the TecnoCampus, at the School of Health Sciences, as well as the prominent role which plays the Fundación TIC Salut (based in the TecnoCampus) in the implementation of new technologies in this field.
