La HoMER Network (History of Moviegoing, Exhibition and Reception) gathers one international network of researchers committed to researching public and audience histories, cinematographic exhibition and reception from international and multidisciplinary perspectives, with the aim of promoting the understanding of these phenomena.

Since 2004, this network organizes one every year international conference that in this next edition will take place at the TecnoCampus from July 4 to 7. The aim of this new edition is to expand the academic field of the new history of cinema to a multiplicity of perspectives encouraging a better understanding of the dynamics of power relations between the peripheries and the metropolises, exploring the positionings, borders, limits and geographical, social, cultural and linguistic relations.
