TecnoCampus and the Maresme Group of New Information and Communication Technologies Companies (GENTIC) have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen the competitiveness of the ICT sector, strengthen knowledge transfer and promote new opportunities for companies, professionals and students in the region.

TecnoCampus and Gentic agreement

The agreement signed between TecnoCampus and GENTIC creates a stable framework for joint work with the aim of dynamizing the technological ecosystem of Maresme. The agreement facilitates the promotion of projects that connect university activity with the needs of the business community, promotes innovation and consolidates Mataró as a pole of attraction for technological talent.

On the part of TecnoCampus, the agreement foresees measures to bring business growth services closer to GENTIC companies. It also includes access to the student talent pool, discounts on master's degree training and tailor-made courses for companies, as well as the commitment to disseminate the association's initiatives and activities through the park's channels.

GENTIC is committed to acting as a spokesperson for TecnoCampus among companies in the ICT sector, promoting participation in programs, awards and activities of the park and facilitating that university students can attend conferences and sessions that they can organize under the same conditions as their associates.

One of the highlights is the holding of an annual conference on technological trends and innovation, aimed at entrepreneurs, professionals and students, which will become a meeting space to detect opportunities and generate synergies in the ICT field. This agreement allows TecnoCampus to expand the strategic collaboration with a key agent in the Maresme technology sector to generate a stable cooperation space to boost the competitiveness of companies.

The proximity to TecnoCampus will allow GENTIC to better connect the ICT fabric with the university and promote projects that bring real value to companies and professionals in the area.

This agreement consolidates the commitment of the two institutions to strengthen the role of Mataró and Maresme as a benchmark in innovation, entrepreneurship and advanced technologies.
