On Wednesday 31 May, the GMA Awards were held in the TecnoCampus Auditorium, an event that celebrates the best works of students from different subjects of the Degree in Audiovisual Media.

In the room, full of students accompanied by family, friends and teachers, the winners of the eight award categories were announced and projected: Non-fiction, Screenplay, Music, Animation and special effects, Editing, Design and digital arts, Photography and Fiction.

All winners received an award and a prize consisting of a quarterly subscription to Filmin, the event's partner platform. The GMA Awards take over the space that ARQFest occupied in the TecnoCampus before the pandemic, with the aim of exhibiting students' work beyond the classroom. The winners were selected by a jury made up of undergraduate teachers Carlota Frisón, David Minguillón, Joan Jordi Miralles, Víctor Navarro, Roger Reig, Jordi Roquer and Luca Saavedra and former student Pablo Vidal, from the 2019/20 class. The Degree in Audiovisual Media is already working on the second edition of these Awards for the 2023/24 academic year.
