Professors Eloi Serrano and Miguel Guillén participate in the II Legal Congress of Social Economy of CIRIEC-Spain

Professor Serrano spoke at the congress presentation ceremony, along with Daniel Vázquez, professor of Commercial Law at the University of Barcelona and co-director of the congress; José Luis Monzón, director of CIRIEC-Spain; María José Vañó, tenured professor of Commercial Law at the University of Valencia; and David Bonvehí, general director of Social Economy and Cooperatives of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

Professor Guillén presented a scientific paper during the congress entitled "Public Procurement of Social Economy Companies by the Government of the Balearic Islands (2018-2024)". This 2nd CIRIEC-Spain Legal Congress on Social Economy was held at the Barcelona School of Management (Pompeu Fabra University) under the title "Legal Challenges of the Social Economy: Sustainability and Efficiency". 

It was jointly organized by CIRIEC-Spain, the Chair of Social Economy at TecnoCampus-UPF and the Generalitat de Catalunya. More than ninety conference participants, experts in research on the social economy from a legal point of view, gathered in the Catalan capital.
