The general director of TecnoCampus, Josep Lluís Checa, was interviewed this week on Mataró Ràdio, where he took the opportunity to review the closing data for the 2025 financial year, as well as the park's activity projections for this year.
Journalist Pep Andreu was in charge of conducting the interview, in which Checa highlighted future projects, such as the construction of a new building for mixed uses (University, business accommodation, parking and conference spaces) in the Rengle area, which will allow TecnoCampus to continue expanding its activity. Checa highlighted that, for the first time, the number of registered undergraduate and official master's students has exceeded 4.000, to which must be added those taking other types of postgraduate courses, such as specialization courses.
In the business field, Checa has highlighted full employment, with around 130 companies hosted, as well as growth, acceleration and creation services for new start-ups, through specific programs in health, additive manufacturing, textiles or mobility.
In the institutional sphere, Checa highlighted the negotiations opened with the Generalitat of Catalonia to get involved in the financing of TecnoCanmpus, based on the public service it provides, and in the investment necessary for the construction of the new building that will complement the current facilities.
