The company Evix, based at the Tecnocampus, has been selected as one of the twelve finalist projects in the Social Innovation Awards of the Mapfre Foundation. 

The aim of these awards is to highlight solutions focused on improving mobility and safety, promoting health and promoting healthy behaviors, and promoting initiatives that encourage active aging and improve the quality of life of people between 55 and 75 years 

Evix's innovation consists of a cervical protection system that uses Artificial Intelligence to detect accidents and activate an airbag to reduce spinal cord and cervical injuries. It was originally designed for cyclists, but the system can be integrated into any helmet used in sports or transport. This product highlights its commitment to the safety and well-being of users, as well as its commitment to innovation in key areas for today's society.
