In a digitized world, cyber security has become a fundamental element. But what happens when it comes to the employment inclusion of people with disabilities in this sector? The Prevent Foundation will carry out the NIO program, aimed at those people with disabilities who wish to start in the field of cyber security and which will be taught by HUB4T TecnoCampus.

El NIO training program seeks to create job opportunities from cyber security for people with disabilities. It is a certified training in cyber security with an inclusive approach and with a commitment to equal opportunities, NIO aims to offer an accessible and appropriate training route to people with disabilities who seek to delve into cyber security, a sector with a constantly growing labor demand.

The NIO program is a combination of technical training in cyber security, development of skills and work competencies, as well as actions of job insertion and awareness in companies in the technology sector. Students will have the opportunity to obtain a "Cybersecurity Management Specialization Course" certificate issued by TecnoCampus, a university center attached to Pompeu Fabra University, which will provide them with a solid basis for accessing the labor market.

The first courses will start on January 29 until May 17. The program will offer 250 hours of online training, divided into classes for three days a week, both in the morning and in the afternoon. It will provide theoretical content, tutored practical exercises and an employment-oriented approach in technological sectors. The academic coordinator of the program is professor Pere Barberan, from the Technology department of the TecnoCampus, and will have the support of a business committee formed by the company ESED, located in the TecnoCampus park, expert in cyber security solutions and IT services for companies .
