The IEEE International Carnahan Conference on Security Technology (ICCST) is an annual conference sponsored by various international organizations with an interest in creating an open forum for the exchange of information related to security technology.

The ICCST deals with the research and development aspects of electronic security technology, including performance testing of the technology. The Conference is an exchange of knowledge through the presentation of works that have been selected by the organizing committee. It is where engineers, physicists, scientists, security professionals and social scientists share with each other the results of their research and development. The Carnahan Conference also provides a basis for long-range support and assistance to authorities and bodies responsible for security and law enforcement in the use of available technology.

The ICCST has existed for longer than any other conference, anywhere in the world, on this subject. In addition, he has continued to document advances in security technology through his work, published since the 1968 conference.
