The Minister of Labor, Mar Serna, visited this morning the new headquarters of the park accompanied by the Mayor of Mataró, Joan Antoni Baron, and the President of the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation, Alícia Romero. During the visit, and in statements to the media, Serna explained to journalists the balance of the Extraordinary Local Employment Plans promoted by the Department of Labor in the Maresme, where the contribution made in 2010 has exceeded 60% that of 2009.

These plans have allowed in the case of the TecnoCampus the hiring of 25 people who since last July have been carrying out various tasks. The Minister spoke with some of these workers, specifically with the team that has participated in the tasks of installing systems in the new building. Serna noted that the plans represent a “professionalizing experience” for people who were unemployed.
