Anna Escoda, director of the CETEMMSA Technology Center i Bernardo Gomez, president of the Gremi d'Indústries Gràfiques de Catalunya, signed a collaboration agreement on 25 February to transfer technology to member companies, informing them of the research they can incorporate into their products in order to position and improve competitiveness.

CETEMMSA, a center specializing in intelligent products and materials, has an advanced line of research in the field of the printing of conductors on flexible media such as paper, plastic or textile. Using these techniques makes the media intelligent by equipping them with new functionalities.

The signed Agreement will allow the companies of the Guild to incorporate the technology developed by CETEMMSA to the products that they throw in the market. For its part, CETEMMSA is committed to managing the Research and Development projects required by the Guild as a process of sustainable growth in the competitiveness of its members.

Anna Escoda comments that with this agreement "we are faithful to our founding mission: to impact the market with our research to increase the competitiveness of companies through innovation". The agreement has an initial duration of one year, which can be automatically and tacitly extended for successive periods. The agreement also incorporates confidentiality and intellectual property clauses.

 

CETEMMSA is a technology center expert in the process of treating flexible surfaces for obtaining smart materials - Smart materials - with a relevant history of more than 19 years.
Certified and approved by the Public Administration, it is part of the TECNIO network and is one of the six advanced technological centers in Catalonia. Its aim is to improve the competitiveness of companies and help them through product innovation. CETEMMSA is part of the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme science and innovation park.
