The main headquarters of the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme, the Rengle building, has obtained the highest rating in energy efficiency for part of theCatalan Energy Institute. Specifically, the two towers obtain the A rating (on a scale from A to G in which A corresponds to the maximum efficiency). The university building obtains grade B on this same scale.

The set of buildings that make up the headquarters of the TecnoCampus is fed by the Green tube, an energy recovery system that, among other measures, has allowed these certificates to be obtained.
