All the research groups that requested this recognition have obtained a positive resolution
The Agency for Management of University and Research Grants has recently published the provisional resolution of the call "SGR-Cat 2021", a call for grants that recognizes the quality and excellence of research groups that develop their activity in Catalonia, with the aim of promoting their activity and scientific, economic and social impact, as well as promoting their international projection.
All the TecnoCampus research groups that requested this recognition have obtained a positive resolution. The recognized groups are the following:
- Culture and Ludic Technology Research Group, coordinated by Dr. Antonio José Planells, which is recognized as an Emerging Research Group (2021 SGR 01601).
- Applied Research Group in the Financial, Economic and Social Environment (GRAEFES), coordinated by Dr. Josep Mª Raya, which obtains recognition as a Consolidated Research Group (2021 SGR 01602).
- Signal and Data Processing Research Group (TSD), coordinated by Dr. Marcos Faúndez, which obtains recognition as a Consolidated Research Group (2021 SGR 01603).
- Chronic Care and Health Innovation Research Group (GRACIS), coordinated by Dr. Esther Cabrera, who obtains recognition as a Consolidated Research Group (2021 SGR 01604) and a funding of 40.000 euros for her activity.
New project portal
On the other hand, the TecnoCampus Project and Research Support Service launches a portal to disseminate and improve the visibility of all projects that are done in the institution. The design has a unique project sheet format that collects the basic information of each one, the contact details of those responsible and the possibility of filtering by modality, project scope, amount or validity. The first version of the portal is already published with 16 projects and all current projects will gradually be incorporated.
