On October 23, Investment Day took place at the TecnoCampus Congress Center, an inspiring and connecting event for investors and entrepreneurs with the participation of more than 60 people.
The general director of TecnoCampus, Josep Lluis Checa, welcomed the event and then the pitch competition took place in which the three finalist university entrepreneurship projects of TecnoCampus presented their projects in a three-minute pitch:
- Netjob, a project led by Anna Salcedo, alumni of the double degree in ADE and innovation management and Marketing and digital content. She has developed a marketplace that connects home service professionals with people who have these needs.
- Aquaflow, a project promoted by Joel Auferil Jubany, a student of the Business Administration and Innovation Management degree. AquaFlow Analytics offers an energy efficiency solution with a comprehensive irrigation monitoring and optimization service for drip and sprinkler farms, which allows water consumption and costs to be reduced.
- TableStories, presented by Sophia Seidler, alumni of the Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. TableStories is a social network that connects people and cultures through gastronomy, offering gatherings to share food and culture and experiences where expert hosts teach specific techniques or dishes.
The winning project was Aquaflow, chosen by the jury formed by Jose Ramon Martín, director of Bstartup at Banco Sabadell; Alfons Mengual, head of the Connector accelerator; David Rangil, and Anahí Moyano, from TecnoCampus. The prize includes access to the TecnoCampus pre-incubator, two tickets to the Mobil World Congress 2026 and a package of expert advice to accelerate the launch of their project.
In the second part of the day, with the reverse pitch, it was the investors who took to the stage to present their investment fund. We had Alex Tortosa from Plug and Play Tech Center, Maria Poveda Deltell, from Inveready and Cristina de Ochoa from Grow Venture Partners.
Finally, the main activity took place, the investment forum, where five start-ups presented their project and their capital demands to investors. Once finished, a networking space was set up so that entrepreneurs could show their products and interact with investors.
