The call for the Innocare acceleration program for start-ups and projects in the field of health and care is open

Innocare is launched, an acceleration program aimed at projects and start-ups up to 5 years old in the field of health and care that develop innovative products or services that improve people's quality of life. Solutions for diagnosis, treatment or monitoring of patients, as well as technologies for disease prevention, patient rehabilitation, or improving the well-being of the elderly.

For six months, the ten selected start-ups or projects will enjoy individualized expert advice, specialized training, connection to the innovative ecosystem and access to financing. 

The Innocare program will help validate the value proposition in the market with methodologies such as Lean StartUp, Customer Discovery & Development. In addition, the Espai Mataró Cuida-Carecitylab, the new center for care and research in the socio-health field in Mataró, will facilitate this validation in real environments and with end users. 

Likewise, the program has the support of the partners of the Mataró Cuida-Carecitylab space: the Mataró City Council and the Barcelona Provincial Council and the collaboration of the Sant Jaume i Santa Magdalena Hospital, the El Maresme Foundation, the Maresme Health Consortium, the Maresme Private Health Foundation of the Maresme Health Consortium, the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS), Eurecat, the Tic Health Social Foundation and the Jordi Gol i Gurina University Institute for Research in Primary Health Care.
