The TecnoCampus and the Mataró City Council have opened the 21st edition of the Creatic Awards, aimed at entrepreneurial projects related to technology and innovation. Like last year, they will be delivered on Creatic Award for the best business initiative, and the best women-led initiative and the best project with social impact. The first of these prizes is endowed with 12.000 euros, and the other two, with 6.000 euros. The winners will also enjoy direct access to the TecnoCampus business incubator, with a 50% discount in the first year, and will be able to connect to the ecosystem of the technology park, which is currently home to more than one hundreds of companies. 

Nominations for the awards can be submitted until October 5, 2021. In a first selection phase, a committee made up of representatives from TecnoCampus and other collaborating entities will select twelve finalist projects. Subsequently, the finalists will have to present the project in a format elevator pitch before the jury, which will choose the winners.

As in previous editions, the awards are sponsored by various companies and institutions. There are seven in total: Bytemaster (platinum category); FYR Legal, Minoryx Therapeutics and Banco Sabadell (gold category); CSV Experts (Silver Category); Derecho.com and Palobiofarma (bronze category). With their support, these companies make possible the financial endowment of the awards, and thus show the commitment with entrepreneurs who are taking their first steps.

The Creatic Awards will be presented in November at the Entrepreneurship Night, in which the best entrepreneurial project among those proposed by TecnoCampus students will also be awarded. Tan award will also be given to the best entrepreneurial project in the field of vocational training.

The Creatic Awards are organized by the TecnoCampus and Mataró City Council. In addition to the companies that act as patrons, the initiative is supported by the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​the Department of the Vice-Presidency and Digital and Territorial Policies and the Department of Business and Labor of the Generalitat (through Catalunya Emprèn and ACCIÓ), and the Group of Companies of New Technologies of the Information and the Communication of Mataró and Maresme (GENTIC), the Independent Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia (AIJEC), the Federation of Associations and Business Guilds of the Maresme collaborate (FAGEM), the Give yourself a boost, the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, BANC and PIMEC.
