Padel VR has developed a padel training application using virtual reality. The aim is to popularize the learning and practice of this sport from home, as a complement to real sport, always with maximum realism.

The startup, located at the TecnoCampus, was awarded during the Hexagon Cup last January 31 as part of the World Padel Awards. The award was given in the most innovative category of 2023. These awards are organized every year by the specialized website PadelSpain and in this case it was the ninth edition, which broke the historical record of votes compared to previous editions.

Padel VR was born after two years of development by the team led by Sergi Anglada, CEO of the company, expert in virtual world technologies and a big fan of padel. The purpose of Padel VR is not only to play, but also to learn. Padel VR hopes to launch its training app for users of all levels at the end of April.

These trainings will be carried out virtually by one of the most prestigious trainers in the world: Pablo Crosetti. Through the application, marketed mainly through Meta, the user will be able to learn and practice from the most basic strokes to more complex lessons of tactics on the court. The great advantage of Padel VR is that it can be used when it's raining, when you couldn't get a court, when you don't have enough time to travel or when you're injured.

All this makes it the perfect complement to the practice of the sport that has grown the most globally in the last two years.
