The Department of Communication Studies of the URV has organized a seminar dedicated to research on board games, with the collaboration of the Asterisc and Digra Communication research group. The seminar papers will be published in a book soon. The TecnoCampus Degree in Design and Production professors Joan Josep Pons, Antoni Planells and Victor Navarro have participated.

The Department of Communication Studies of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) has held a seminar entitled "Tableros y pantallas: la encrucijada del juego de mesa en el siglo XXI", dedicated to research on board games as artefacts cultural, historical and communicative. 

The seminar, which had the participation of experts such as Joan Josep Pons, Víctor Navarro and Antoni Planells, dealt with topics such as the history of board games, the current state of the industry, the imagination of worlds in board games table and digital hybrids in this area. The presentations will be collected in a book to be published soon
