The Universitat-Indústria Audiovisual Pitching, an initiative of the Audiovisual Cluster of Catalonia, has selected four projects from the degrees in Audiovisual Media and Design and Production of Videogames.

The initiative, which will take place on 16, 17 and 18 in November, is part of the Audiovisual Talent Week, a program that encompasses a series of activities aimed at connecting the new emerging talent of university centers in the audiovisual field with professionals from the entire sector.

Audiovisual Pitching is its main activity, and it also hosts others such as the market for new professionals, workshops, conferences and networking sessions. To this pitching, students present their projects to industry producers. The format consists of a 7-minute presentation and 7 minutes of questions and comments from the producers to the authors. The sessions are held in front of an audience made up of professionals from the sector, institutional representatives of the audiovisual and academic fields and students from the participating universities.

The projects of the Degree in Audiovisual Media selected are:

  • Manola, by Pau Bonastre and Pau Artero.
  • Ephemeral, by Carla Casimirio Valenzuela and Roger Galano Ramos.

The projects of the Degree in Design and Production of Videogames are:
  • Marge It!, by Alex Pascua and Pau Ruano.
  • Look What I've Made, by Jan de Nobel and Gerard Coquard.
