The Chair of Circular Economy and Sustainability delivered today the awards to the best TFG's presented by students in the 22-23 year.

The second edition of these awards recognize those students who incorporate the circular economy in their final degree projects. The Acting Director of the Chair, Ariadna Benet, pointed out at the award ceremony that this is the second edition of the awards, and noted the quality of the works that have been recognised.

The awarded TFG's are "Reorganization through a Reengineering of the Productive System of an NGO in Mfangano, Kenya", by Carla Colomina; and "Cop de Mà, inclusive pancakes", by Alexandra Cano and Irene Dangla. They received the diploma in recognition from Josep Lluís Checa, general director of the TecnoCampus, and Francesc Codony, responsible for Quality, Environment and Compliance Management at Aigües de Mataró. This public company, together with the Maresme Regional Council and the Integral Center for Waste Valorisation, accompanies the TecnoCampus and the Mataró City Council in promoting the Chair.

The prize money is 800 euros for each of the winning works. In this edition, the jury has been made up of expert members in the institutional, academic and business spheres in the circular economy and sustainability: Humberto Llavador (Pompeu Fabra University and Barcelona School of Economics), Joan Rieradevall Pons (ICTA Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona), Alba Cabañas (SustainThinking), Marta Escamilla (Leitat Technology Center) and Antonio Valero (Resources and Energy Consumption Research Center).
