This year, students of the Degree in Nursing have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the world of robotics applied to health with the new optional subject "Robotics & Health", taught entirely in English. This innovative subject has been included in the curriculum for the first time with the aim that students reflect on the possibilities, advantages and ethical challenges of robotics in the healthcare field, while promoting critical thinking.

In "Robotics & Health", students work with the methodology of design thinking to develop and reflect on an innovative robotic idea possibly applicable to the healthcare field. Through this methodology it is intended that they integrate the creation process that goes from the inspiration based on the need to the implementation phase, always with a focus centered on the human being.

During the sessions, debates are also held on relevant topics and expert opinions related to different areas of the subject are displayed. These activities allow students to contrast diverse viewpoints, foster deep discussions, and expand their understanding of the applications and dilemmas of robotics in healthcare. To enrich the learning experience, various activities have been organized.

The students were able to participate in online connections with an expert in service design and innovation established in London and with a surgeon specialized in robotic surgery, as well as visiting the ThinIN 3D accelerator at the TecnoCampus, where they were able to see manufacturing technologies up close advanced

For next year, new activities and experiences are being prepared to make this subject a unique opportunity to discover and apply advances in robotics in the health field. An innovative proposal that invites students to explore the future of health and to be part of the new technological challenges.
