Second edition of the Startup Grind Tech Summit: 400 people gather to discuss Artificial Intelligence

The TecnoCampus was the main host of the second edition of the Startup Grind Tech Summit, held on May 30. The event brought together nearly 400 people, including attendees and speakers.

Jordi Bolet Castellà, director of the Mataró chapter of Startup Grind, highlighted this year's success: "This year's edition exceeded all our expectations. We managed to increase attendance compared to the previous year and improve the quality of the panels for the invited companies". 

The convention was attended by politicians, entrepreneurs, investors and technology experts from around the world. Figures such as Romuald Fons, CEO and founder of BIGSEO stand out; Cecilia Tham, CEO of Futurity Systems; or Víctor Gaspar, CSO of Multiverse Computing.

The main theme of the presentations was "humanizing Artificial Intelligence", with presentations on the relationship between AI and nature, social impact projects and quantum computing. In the Pitch Competition the projects Scrads, Chatty Insights and Enterprelearners stood out as winners. Jordi Bolet Castellà, concluded: "The success of this event demonstrates the importance of connecting the local entrepreneurial ecosystem with international knowledge, thus promoting innovation and the creation of new projects."
