From 3 to 5 June, the 3rd Cycle & Walking meeting will be held in Pineda de Mar, to continue advancing in the study of cycling tourism and walking and in the development of new services associated with both types of tourism. In addition, European experiences of success and proposals from our territory will be known.

Active tourism is a new market niche, with sustainable activities that contribute to the conservation of historical, natural and cultural heritage. A tourism already consolidated in many European countries and that in our territory by his orographic and climatological characteristics presents good perspectives of growth and new opportunities of business.

TecnoCampus supports the days actively participating in its organization. Dr. Albert Blasco, coordinator of tourism studies, and Narcís Martí, professor of accommodation management, will moderate and present the conclusions of the speed networking workshops, with the collaboration of tourism students. The workshops will include 12 tables where they will discuss a wide range of topics related to cycling and walking: resources of the territory, active tourism with animals, guides and publications, Nordic walking, active tourism companies, social networks, electric bikes, adapted sports, nutrition and trails.

If you want to take part in the conference and expand your knowledge in the field of cycling and walking, as well as other forms of active tourism, you can register for free at www.cycleandwalking.org With the accreditation you will receive tickets from Rodalies de Catalunya to also be able to travel for free to Pineda de Mar.
