The novel is a story of overcoming, personal rise and fall, but it also functions as an x-ray into the (darker) bowels of FC Barcelona, ​​an institution known and loved around the world. triumphant focus on it bullying, suffocating relationships and toxic behaviors among teenagers. That is why the events narrated in the novel can easily be transferred to the reality that can be experienced in certain situations in high schools and other centers where young people and teenagers live together.

The author

Joan Jordi Miralles is PDI in the Audiovisual Media Degree at TecnoCampus, where he teaches subjects such as Serial Fiction, Filmmaking Techniques, Contemporary Television Production and Interactive Screenplay. In the literary field, he has published novels The Most High (Andròmina prize, Tres i Quatre, 2005), The whale's uterus (Vila de Lloseta award, Moll, 2010), A wonderful woman (LaBreu, 2014) and Agglutination (Joanot Martorell prize, Edicions 62, 2018), in addition to the volumes of long stories The intimacy of beasts (Marian Vayreda prize, Empúries, 2017) i Marginality (Weeds, 2021). His stories have taken part in various media and in anthologies, including Vanishing points (Weeds, 2015) i leech (AdiA, 2017). In theater, he has published plays This is Austria (Pare Colom Mediterranean Theater Award, Leonard Muntaner, 2012) i Happy children (Weeds, 2016).
